The MAIA Winners 2025
What a challenge our 20 expert judges faced this year: for the first time, we received more than 200 entries from a record-breaking 45 countries!
After a rigorous review process by our selection committee, 119 finalists were shortlisted. It then became the judges’ task to deliberate, score, and debate entries across 17 categories – including a brand new one for anti-scam education.
After a month of careful evaluation, we are delighted to present this year’s outstanding selection: 15 winners, 15 runners-up, and 17 special commendations. That’s a total of 47 awardees – reflecting the growing ambition and innovation across the financial literacy space.
Once again, the Best Book category was fiercely contested, but for the first time in three years we had a single clear winner. We also proudly celebrated our first-ever winners from China and Portugal, and saw especially strong showings from Australia, India, and Spain.
We want to congratulate everyone who took part: winners, runners-up, special commendations, finalists – and even those whose entries didn’t quite make the cut this time. Your efforts are part of a growing global movement to make money simple, inclusive, and better for everyone.
Thank you for the work you do – and see you next year!
