Financedu is a free and interactive online platform dedicated to financial education for students, parents, and teachers. Through 7 in-depth modules, 44 lessons, 87 articles, over 300 practice questions, and a series of interactive calculators and exercises, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of key financial concepts, including earning income, spending, saving, investing, credit, debt, and managing risk.
Our content also consists of articles, practice questions, interactive exercises, and external resources that compliment the course material, giving real-world application to the course. In addition, after completing an exercise, users are offered feedback based on their performance and responses to content.
As an educational platform, Financedu features an interactive dashboard which allows users to track their progress and gain insight into their performance in various modules, lessons, activities, and topics. Parents and educators are also able to access this progress, which can identify areas for further study.
Financedu’s most innovative feature is its interface for educators, who can create and assign custom lessons with our content, analyze student performance on assignments, and grade written responses. The platform also provides a range of tools to assist educators in managing a class, including due dates, customized availability for individual students, and settings for grading.
Moreover, educators are able to map our content in the assignments they create to the Jump$tart Standards devised by the National Council for Economic Education, ensuring that the material aligns with established educational guidelines and objectives. We are also in the process of integrating state-level standards in our course.
With its interactive interface, real-time feedback, capacity for parental or educator involvement and classroom features, we hope that Financedu can help students explore and master personal finance through an innovative and engaging platform.
