MADCash is a Fintech that helps women achieve greater financial security by providing the capital, business and financial acumen to grow their micro businesses. MADCash runs on a proprietary technological platform that allows donors to contribute and see who their funds are helping at any one time. We tested the idea of a donation that keeps on giving in Apr 2020 at the start of the pandemic to help 3 ladies in our community restart their businesses after Malaysia declared a lockdown. We raised RM3K (USD650) from friends. In Jun 2022, we setup Madcash. We are now working on providing financial access to women who are underbanked, blacklisted or have a bad credit history, who could only get loans from loan sharks.
Our funding is given without any interest or management fee to the beneficiaries. We know that giving money alone is not enough, we provide an online academy for business and financial skills as well as mentors and business support and network. We work with women who do not have a credit history or those who are blacklisted by traditional financial institutions. MADCash platform and mobile apps extensively profiles applicants, provides an online academy, processes the loan, monitors repayment and tracks business growth, personal growth and happiness index with the end goal of generating a Future Bankability Index for our ladies. We have found a niche with financial institutions that provide the funding for these micro entrepreneurs as we work to help them become credit worthy. Our latest fund is tapping on the Islamic Social Finance; transforming traditional one off giving into capacity development fund. From USD65), we have raised USD700K as our pool of loans. Our funders also funds the entrepreneurship development program which is our source of revenue. We are Building Tomorrow’s Bankable Women Today
